All the Black Friday sales I've shopped so far
Tis the season to be inundated with discounts and deals from our favourite brands. It’s easy to get swept up in the frenzy of it all and hey, sometimes that’s half the fun! But for someone that’s spent the past 3 months culling and clearing out clothing, furniture and general clutter from my home I’m not about to fill up the newfound space with more stuff I won’t like or need in a year.
However, I still love a bargain and so I have been shopping! BUT, it’s for things I use all the time, things I’ve had my eye on for a while, things that fill specific gaps I’ve clocked and holiday gifts! Sharing all this below. And because I can’t help myself, I’ve put together a sales edit with more fun things I’ve found/am eyeing off for myself.
Also - this time of year never gets easier - it’s BUSY out here. We are all crawling to the finish line - so I wanted to share this post I found the other day - it might be very helpful to you as it was to me <3
What I’ve Bought:
I love the pieces I have from Deiji Studios. I love wearing them around the house when I want to wear something a little more elevated than trackies or activewear but still be just as comfortable.
Of course, Deiji is great for outside of the house too! I’ve had my eye on a few pieces and when I got word of their Black Friday discounts, I pounced. Here’s what I got:
Nothing hits like new bedding. I took advantage of the 40% off Sheridan sale to pick up a new white cotton bedspread and pillowcases + a fun blue set and yellow set. These three will be great to mix and match also.
A product I discovered this year that has absolutely changed my life (not an exaggeration) is the Ikkari Deep Sleep Tonic. I’ve never slept better since discovering this. 5 drops of the (delicious) tonic into water an hour or so before bed and I fall and stay asleep with ease. It’s BLISS. Ikkari are currently doing 20% sitewide so I stocked up on this tonic for myself (they’re usually $69 and with the discount they come down to $55.20) and bought a bunch as gifts for loved ones. Giving the gift of beautiful sleep - I am an angel.
I also bought the Stress Tonic which I recently tried and love. I need to buy their new travel sachets too!
One thing I have a sick obsession for is cute mugs. My husband won’t love learning that I bought two more but I am who I am! I’ve been stalking these Jedda Clay handmade mugs for a long time and the 20% Black Friday deal twisted my arm!
I love a simple grey cotton pyjama set. I have a set (long sleeve + long pants) that I wear to death in winter from Hybernate and wanted a summer version (tshirt and shorts). Then I was served some very on point ads from Papinelle (another pyjama fave of mine) to the exact pair I was dreaming of so I bought them! Shop here. They are doing 30% off select styles.
If you’re in need of a plate/bowl/cutlery etc upgrade - I swear by my collection of In The Roundhouse pieces and there’s currently 25% site wide so it’s a great time to replace your current rotation. I picked up a new set of my favourite scallop set. I have the plain white but got the red trim. I also got the glass candle holders - they come as a set of 4, and I got tapered candles to match. This makes for great gifting - and I picked up some goodies for my family too.
I’ve scoured the web and pulled sale finds from all my faves: including Friends with Frank, Bassike, Lee Mathews, Net-A-Porter (brands like The Row, The Frankie Shop, Agolde, AEmery etc), Incu, Dissh, Mode Sportif (brands like Ganni, Flore Flore, Beare Park, Anna Quan etc), David Jones (brands like Isabel Marant, Yumei, Samsoe Samsoe.
