Everything I've bought so far in 2025 and the 46 items on my wishlist

It's my year of buying less - so what's made the cut so far?

Following a fashion No Buy in January and February this year I’ve been trying my best to be as intentional a shopper as I can be. I wrote about everything I learnt throughout the No Buy period and how it rewired my brain - you can find it here.

I promised I’d share everything I’ve bought since, as well as my wishlist. I started creating a wishlist in January - as a way to store all of the things I love and pre No Buy, more often than not, click ‘add to cart’ on.

It’s been so interesting to see what I’ve actually bought from this, what was definitely a fleeting want and what I hope to purchase in the future. I used Carted for this.

Let’s start with my wishlist items and my reflections/verdict on them:

1. Sandy Liang dress - I really like the silhouette on this one - puffy shoulders and a pleated swishy skirt on the bottom. I’m still contemplating this one. I really do love it.

2. APC Bag - I really like the silhouette of this bag, a great everyday option. I already have a great tan Miu Miu bag so likely don’t need another.

3. Sonderhaus vest - this is super cute and I love the red trim against the cream. I think I have enough vests though.

4. Cawley leather jacket - A really cool tan leather jacket. I ultimately think I can find something like this preloved.

5. Repetto red ballet pumps - Love these! I will in be Paris in August and will be visiting the Repetto store and buying these (or similar) in person!

6. Deiji dress - I’m a sucker for anything and everything Deiji. I love this dress but don’t think it would suit me.

7. Cos red suede bag - Very cute, good price but not a 100% need.

8. Tiffany Hardware necklace - I’ve wanted this necklace for a long time. After having my colours done I was told silver jewellery near my face is most complimentary to me. One day I hope to get this necklace!

9. Hermes Kelly 35 - One day I will own a vintage Hermes Kelly. Right now I’m just sussing the market and getting a feel for what’s out there, the right size and colour for me and the rough price range in the preloved game. I’m of the opinion the more loved and lived in an Hermes Kelly or Birkin is, the better!

10. Chloe red vneck sweater - This has since sold out (it was on the Real Real) and I loved it so much but I ended up finding a similar knit at an opshop.

11. Posse jacket - A beautiful jacket but I’m not sure how much wear I’d get out of it.

12. Velvet Canyon glasses - I love these glasses. I added these onto my wishlist early this year. I will get them at some point.

13. Chloe cotton jacket: This jacket is a total dream. I would buy it in a heartbeat but the price is quite steep. I'll keep this one in mind. It’s perfect.

14. JNBY cardigan: Just adorable, love the pink, the little bows. I may buy one day!

15. Bottega blue bag - I can’t link this as it was on Vestiaire but it has since sold and the item has disappeared. I do love this and would love to have something like this should I come across it secondhand. I’d like it to be duffle size for overnight stays.

16. Pink Chanel 25 bag - I want a Chanel 25 bag so bad, just deciding which colour and size is right for me. Potentially a Europe purchase!
